79th Venice International Film Festival: cinematic art

Under the artistic direction of Alberto Barbera, who has reached his tenth assignment, the exhibition will offer a program full of important events. Despite the lack of China and Russian authors, there will be 23 films in competition, with Netflix presenting the film “White Noise” for the first time and for the opening. There are 5 Italian short films competing for the Golden Lion: "Bones and all" by Luca Guadagnino, "The lord of the ants" by Gianni Amelio (Golden Lion 1998), "The immensity" by Emanuele Crilese, Chiara by Susanna Nicchiarelli and Monica by Andrea Palloro.

It will be the actress and TV presenter Rocío Muñoz Morales, the godmother of the 79th Venice International Film Festival.
