EN [ENA] Dubai Airshow announces the dates of the 2023 edition. The aeronautical - space event year 2021 closes with exceptional results. The event in the Emirates has beaten the numbers of past years, confirming itself as the most very important in the world.

The event in the Emirates has beaten the numbers of past years, confirming itself as the most important in the world. The Dubai Airshow 2021 was in fact the edition of the records, which brought together in the UAE in the area where the second airport of Dubai is located , the most famous and important operators of the aeronautical and space industry on the planet. A success also documented by 1,500 accredited international journalists (including Italia News Press Agencywith its industry experts). 1,200 exhibitors (+371) of 150 different nationalities were registered and had a turnover of $ 74 billion (+20 billion) in reserved orders.

175 military and commercial aircraft presented and visited by as many as 104 thousand (+ 19 thousand) 'professional presences' given that the event is not open to the public. Continuous successes also for Emirates which confirms itself as the most important international airline on the planet, both in terms of fleet and connections. At the 2021 Airshow it received the visit of 17 thousand professionals who were announced the inclusion of the 'Premium Economy' on 105 of its 300 giants of the skies B777-300 and A380. The Dubai Airshow will return from 12 to 16 November 2023,bigger and full of new features and new exhibitors.

For the commercial aviation expert Marco Calogero: "Congratulations to the always efficient Emirati organization in creating this wonderful biennial event, and to the invaluable presence of all the companies in the aeronautical sector, both commercial and military. Unmissable Airbus with a futuristic stand, where you could admire aircraft prototypes of the third millennium, but also the current Emirates A380, A350 Etihad, A321neo Wizzair, all of which can be visited on the sunny runways of this second Dubai airport. At the same time Boeing responded with its B787 and with a stand equipped with the latest 'next generation winglets' mounted on the new Boeing 777x capable to reduce fuel consumption by almost 10%.

The maintenance companies could not be missing, among which the Lufthansa Technik, in my opinion the best aircraft maintenance company in the world. Various airline stands among which obviously the one of Emirates stood out with the latest 'Premium Economy' seats and a massive presence of flight personnel, ready to offer any information support. Clearly the plus of the event takes place outdoors and, albeit under a beating sun, thousands of professionals, technicians, soldiers, journalists gathered to explain, admire and photograph the 123 aircraft present, both commercial and military. The executive sector with jets for corporate and private use was very popular and offered various models ready to satisfy a very demanding clientele target.

The 'Italian flag' will also be on the track with Leonardo Spa helicopters. Finally, immense spaces, in this 2021 edition, for military aviation with the now inevitable remotely piloted drones, real new protagonists of any future war conflicts. On Thursday 18 November a scene was therefore closed but 'almost everything is already ready' for 2023 ...
